Mission

This blog is The Event of the year. It’s bigger than the Big Bang Theory. It’s taller than Two and a Half Men, and hopefully after all the $#!@ my dad tells me, I’ll be able to make this blog, a place where even a Monk or The Mentalist or even The Good Wife will constantly visit. A place where, if you’re bored in The Office, Undercovers or visiting 30 Rock, you’ll want to visit to see the latest televisions news, opinions, reviews and polls. Thanks and welcome to our Community.

Cancellation Already Looming

It's only the second week into the new television season, but several new shows are already in danger of cancellation. Below is the list of who's in danger, and why they might be saved

1. Undercovers
Why it's in danger: Only premiered with a 2.0 in the 18-49 key demos, but that dropped to a 1.6 this week. Even with J.J. Abrams name attached to it, Undercovers chances of a full season pick up already seem very unlikely.
Saving Grace: Nothing, unless people start watching, which doesn't seem likely.

2. The Whole Truth
Why it's in danger: ABC's new legal drama started off in worse shape with a 1.6 in the demos, and dropped even further this past week.
Saving Grace: This isn't the only new show that's doing poorly for ABC, and I doubt the network wants all of its shows to fail.

3. My Generation
Why it's in danger: This ABC show also only premiered with a 1.6, and if the trends continue, will most likely drop further tonight.
Saving Grace: This isn't the only new show that's doing poorly for ABC, and I doubt the network wants all of its shows to fail.

4. Detroit 187
Why it's in danger: It's been getting a 2.2 in the key demos.
Saving Grace: It's been getting a 2.2 in the key demos, and for new dramas on ABC, that's looking good.

5. The Defenders
Why it's in danger: Out of all the new CBS shows The Defenders has the lowest ratings in the key demos with a 2.5.
Saving Grace: A 2.5 really isn't that bad. It's not great, but it's not bad.

6. Outlaw
Why it's in danger: In its time-slot premiere, it scored a 1.0. Granted it's on a Friday night, but that's not even good enough for the slowest weeknight of television.
Saving Grace: It's on Friday, but that's a stretch.

  1. Did you see how fast Lonestar was cancelled? It got two episodes! WHy'd they even air it in the first place?!
